Afro Nation

Afro Nation is the world's largest festival dedicated to afrobeats and amapiano. Launched in 2019 by The Malachite Group to celebrate the African diaspora through music, dance, fashion and food, it now draws more than 40,000 festival-goers from nearly 180 countries every year. Its flagship edition takes place each July on the beach of Praia da Rocha in Portimão, Portugal, spread across multiple stages dedicated to afrobeats, amapiano and electronic sounds. Since its launch, Afro Nation has expanded to cities across the globe, from Africa to the United States. Featuring international headline acts, the festival has become a must for fans of African and Caribbean music, delivering a festive, community-driven atmosphere unlike any other.
