Born in 1969 near Montreal to Haitian parents, Anthony Kavanagh is a Quebec comedian, TV host, actor and singer who became one of the most popular names in French-language stand-up. He broke through in 1989 at the Just for Laughs festival, then spent two years opening for Céline Dion across Canada. With more than 1,500 shows performed across some fifteen countries, he also built a successful TV hosting career in France. His work extends to voice acting, with roles in "Madagascar," "Happy Feet," "The Princess and the Frog" and "Moana." An energetic, crowd-pleasing showman, Anthony Kavanagh continues to tour his live shows across the French-speaking world.
