Didi B

Born in 1992 in Abidjan, Didi B (Bassa Zéréhoué Diyilem) is an Ivorian rapper considered one of the most influential figures in Ivory Coast's rap scene. He first made his name with Kiff No Beat, pioneers of the "Dirty Décalé" sound blending rap, reggae, ragga and dancehall, and the first Ivorian group signed to Universal Music Africa. Going solo in 2013 with "Mojo Trône Vol.1," he cemented his status with the 2022 album "History," which went gold and racked up more than 50 million streams. Signed in 2021 to 92i Africa, the label founded by French rapper Booba, Didi B embodies the international rise of Ivorian rap, combining Afro-urban energy, catchy melodies and sharp songwriting.
