Born on 7 June 1977 in Maisons-Alfort to a Cameroonian father and a French mother, Fabrice Éboué started out in rap before turning to comedy in the early 2000s on the Parisian café-theatre circuit. Spotted by Jamel Debbouze, he joined the Jamel Comedy Club, aired on Canal+ between 2006 and 2008, which brought him to mainstream attention. In 2010, he co-directed "Case Départ" with Thomas N'Gijol, a critically acclaimed comedy about slavery in the Antilles. A comedian, actor, screenwriter, and director, he blends dark humor, sharp provocation, and social satire, never shying away from uncomfortable subjects. A two-time Molière award winner for comedy (2018 and 2024), Fabrice Éboué stands today as one of the most incisive voices on the French comedy scene.
