Gradur

Born on 28 November 1990 in Roubaix, into a family of Congolese origin (DRC), Wanani Gradi Mariadi, known as Gradur, spent time in the military before fully dedicating himself to rap. Inspired by MC Solaar, Passi, and Stomy Bugsy, he forged a playful, no-frills trap style. Noticed thanks to a remix of Booba's "La mort leur va si bien," he released his debut mixtape, "ShegueyVara," in 2014, followed by his first album, "L'Homme au bob," certified gold. After a multi-year hiatus, he made a strong comeback in 2019 with the hit "Ne reviens pas." Gradur has established himself as one of the standout figures of French rap from the North.
