Born in 1984 in the Essonne region and raised in Bures-sur-Yvette, Haroun studied at business school before fully committing to stand-up, drawing on his background in hip-hop dance and theatrical improvisation. After writing his first one-man-show alongside his studies, he won the writing and performance awards at the Scènes du Souffleur in 2013 for "Tous complices," along with a Coup de Cœur prize from La Boîte à Rire. Known for humor that is by turns surreal, deadpan, and unapologetically dark, he tackles political news and sensitive topics like religion, harassment, and nuclear weapons head-on. In 2019, he launched the website "Pasquinade" to extend his comedic universe online. Haroun has established himself as one of the sharpest voices in contemporary French comedy.
