Born on 15 June 1997 in Hazebrouck to Algerian parents and hailing from Roubaix, Ilyes Djadel first broke through with videos on social media before gaining national recognition at the Marrakech du Rire festival in 2022. Spotted at the Jamel Comedy Club, where Djamel Debbouze reportedly responded to his unconventional casting with "the mistake, we're keeping it!", he is now produced by Kev Adams and Djamel Debbouze. He opened for Kev Adams in major venues before building his own show, drawing on his unusual path between the projects and a Catholic high school. With hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, Ilyes Djadel embodies the new generation of French stand-up.
