Jahneration

Formed in 2009 by two childhood friends, Thëo and Ogach, Jahneration is a Parisian duo that traded punk rock for reggae, singing in English blended with Jamaican patois. Their 2011 encounter with Naâman on the track "Me Nah Fed Up" earned them a first loyal following. After a self-produced EP, "The Foreword" (2013), they signed with the independent label Ovastand in 2015 and recorded their debut, self-titled album at the legendary Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. Over nearly fifteen years, Jahneration has played more than 400 concerts across mainland France, its overseas territories, Europe, India, and Canada, culminating in a sold-out show at the Olympia in 2022. With six albums to their name, the duo has become a must-see act on the French reggae scene.
