Kalash

Kalash, born Kevin Valleray, is a reggae dancehall singer from Martinique. He emerged on the underground scene in 2003, drawing on Jamaican influences like Bounty Killer alongside Caribbean folklore, before breaking through in the early 2010s with now-classic tracks such as Pran pié, Mama and Sexy Chill. Named Dancehall Revelation and awarded the Sacem prize for Best Reggae-Dancehall Artist, he cemented his success with the gold-certified album Kaos. Kalash has since toured extensively worldwide, carrying Caribbean sounds far beyond the Antilles and establishing himself as one of the leading voices in French-language reggae dancehall.
