Sam'Africa Festival

Sam'Africa Festival is a free, solidarity-driven African cultural event held every year in early September in Samatan, in the Gers region of France, organized by the ADAMA32 association. Over three days, two stages host African and Afro-European artists spanning styles such as afrobeat, highlife, mbalax, soukous, reggae and African hip-hop, alongside dance and percussion workshops, African art exhibitions and a craft market with around fifty vendors. The festival stands out for its community commitment: the organizing association runs cooperation projects with African partners and uses the event to raise awareness about international solidarity issues. Friendly, family-oriented and completely free, Sam'Africa Festival has become a not-to-be-missed gathering for lovers of African culture in southwestern France.
