Zaho

Zaho, born Zahera Darabid, is an Algerian-Canadian singer born in 1980 in Bab Ezzouar, Algeria, before relocating to Montreal at age 18. A true icon of francophone R&B, she broke through in 2008 with her debut album "Dima," featuring the hits "La roue tourne," "Kiff n' dir" and "C'est chelou." Her second album, "Contagieuse" (2012), cemented her success with the hit "Boloss" and notable duets, including one with Rohff. "Le monde à l'envers" followed in 2017. With a captivating voice that fuses pop, R&B and Middle Eastern influences, Zaho has also collaborated with Céline Dion and continues to explore new musical directions. A versatile artist who has remained popular across the French-speaking world for nearly two decades.
