Notting Hill Carnival 2026: Europe's biggest Caribbean carnival

Every year in late August, London's Notting Hill neighbourhood turns into a huge Caribbean celebration. Notting Hill Carnival draws over two million visitors across two days, making it Europe's biggest street event.

Key dates for 2026

• Saturday 29 August: Panorama competition (steel bands), the opening event
• Sunday 30 August: Children's Day, from 10am
• Monday 31 August (UK bank holiday): main parade, from 10:30am
