About Afasin

Our story

Afasin was born from a simple observation: finding authentic products from Africa, the Caribbean and the African diaspora in Europe was an obstacle course. Between hard-to-find specialist shops, poor-quality products and online scams, the Afro-Caribbean community deserved better.

Founded in Mulhouse by Ghislain Nzoukoue, Afasin is the answer to that gap: a trusted platform dedicated exclusively to Afro-Caribbean products, built by and for the African and Caribbean diaspora in Europe.

Our mission

Afasin's mission is to showcase and make accessible the products, culture and talent of Africa and the Caribbean to as many people as possible, wherever they are in Europe.

We believe Afro-Caribbean products — food, cosmetics, textiles, crafts, culture — deserve the same visibility and quality of service as any other product sold online.
