Serge Beynaud

Serge Beynaud, born Guy Serge Beynaud, is an Ivorian singer, songwriter and choreographer born in 1987 in Daloa. By 2006 he had already become one of the go-to arrangers in Ivorian urban music, before breaking through as a solo artist in 2009 with the hit "Kouma lébé." His debut album, "Seul Dieu" (2012), cemented his talent with tracks that became genre classics, like "Corrigé corrigé." Nicknamed "le mannequin de kotto" for his sharp sense of style, Serge Beynaud is today one of the most iconic figures of coupé-décalé, the festive music movement born in Ivory Coast. Between infectious energy, driving rhythms and his signature dance moves, his shows are always eagerly awaited by fans across Africa and the diaspora.
